I'm Vítor Gordo, a photographer and videographer based in Palmela, Setúbal, working regularly in Lisbon and across Portugal.

I founded Syncview in 2008. Since then I've made photography and video of what companies build — events, industry, portraits, people in their real environment — on the ground and from the air, with a drone.

I work up close, without fuss. I believe the best image comes from being present and attentive to what matters — whether at a convention, inside a factory or on the deck of a ship.

In this photo I'm not working: it's me at a planting of Biodiversity Islands, a project I founded that brings communities together around urban mini-forests. It's also where I keep learning how to look.
