Industrial & Naval

Industrial and naval photography at Lisnave, in Setúbal, is one of the areas where Syncview has the most accumulated experience. For over a decade I have photographed and filmed ships under repair at the Mitrena shipyard, by the Sado river: from dry-dock entry to dawn departure, through workshops, deck work, hull painting and bulbous-bow retrofits.

This is an environment that doesn't forgive improvisation: dry docks, work at height, teams on the move and short time windows. Access, knowledge of the shipyard's safety rules and the trust built over the years let me be in the right place at the right moment, without getting in the way of the operation.

I produce imagery for annual reports, institutional communication, project records and social media content. I tell the full story of a repair (from the ship's arrival to delivery) in photography and video, including timelapses and day-and-night filming when the project calls for it.

Beyond naval work, I shoot industrial photography in factories and facilities: documenting production processes, equipment and teams for annual reports and corporate communication, always with the discretion and care an industrial environment demands.
