Attracting the right people is now one of the biggest challenges brands face — and a text ad rarely cuts it. Recruitment and employer-branding video exists precisely for this: to show who the people are, what they do day to day and why it's worth being part of a team. That was the work we produced for BMW Portugal and MINI, putting a face to the roles that make the brand happen.
Instead of describing a vacancy, we show the role in action. The BMW Genius exists to create a unique experience for anyone buying a BMW — highly specialised people who connect the customer, physically and virtually, to their new car. On video, that means showing the closeness, the knowledge and the enthusiasm, not just listing them.
Each role has its own register. The Technician lives on precision and technological challenge — someone who sharpens diagnostic skills daily and ensures the correct maintenance and repair of every BMW. The MINI Sales Manager lives on leadership — engaging, supporting and motivating teams, maximising the potential of each person and of the market. Video has to capture those differences in energy.
Consistency across pieces is what builds an employer brand. When you film a series — Genius, Technician, Sales Manager — the visual language, rhythm and tone have to speak the same language, so everything reads as the same brand even while showing very different careers. That consistency is what turns three videos into a single employer-branding message.
In the end, a good recruitment video doesn't sell a job — it shows a culture. It's the most honest way for a brand to tell outsiders: 'this is how we work, join us'. Recruitment video, employer branding and internal communication for companies in Portugal.
